Fiona Bennett

Director

Fiona is a transport planning consultant with over 20 years’ experience of development planning, traffic engineering, transport policy and road safety; developing and promoting schemes through the entire planning process. Starting her transport career in Surrey County Council alongside her full-time university studies, she moved to Wales in 2003 to work in the private sector where she used her previous and growing experience to obtain her MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering distance learning from Napier University.

In January 2011 Fiona co-founded HTp as a specialist firm of consultant highway engineers and transport planners, to provide development and transport planning services to private and public sector clients.  Fiona is now the sole owner and Director of HTp, and takes real pride in her team.

An active Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation, she sits on the Cymru Wales Committee as Communications Officer and supports regional events including the Awards.

Antoinette Maribbay

Senior Transport Planning Engineer

Antoinette is a transport engineer and planner with 10 years experience in transport infrastructure design and development planning. She joined the HTp team in spring of 2024 and is our Carbon Net Zero champion. Originally from the Philippines, Antoinette started her transport consulting career in Singapore. She has worked on a wide variety of projects internationally, from small to large-scale multi-disciplinary schemes in the UK, Australia and the Asia Pacific. She is passionate in sustainable mobility and has completed her Master's degree in Transportation Engineering and Planning in UWE Bristol. 

Outside of work she enjoys travelling, hiking, photography, fashion, and reading classics. One of her favourite books is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

Darren Cox

Associate

Darren, an Associate at HTp, brings 35 years of expertise in development planning and project management and is a registered Road Safety Auditor. 

Bristol born and bred, away from work he is a keen golfer and supports both Bristol City football club and Bristol Bears rugby club and is looking forward to the big day out in Cardiff and watching Bristol Bears beat Bath. He also enjoys socialising especially live music and regularly attends gigs at venues in and around Bristol.

Darren was part of the team named Blind Elk which appeared on the TV quiz show Eggheads in the hope that the subject of sport would come up.  It turns out that English literature is not his strongest subject.

Alice Howse

Senior Transport Planner

Alice has been with HTp since July 2020 and a Transport Planner since 2018.

Growing up in Bristol, Alice understands the importance of good transport networks and the implementation of sustainable transport links from the start of a new development. Since joining HTp, she has applied her expertise to various projects, including small and large residential schemes, as well as commercial, industrial, health, and sports projects, enjoying the variety each brings.

Outside of work, Alice currently sings in two choirs, as well as performing as a soloist. Alice has even made it to the small screen, appearing as a singing nun on BBC1's Call The Midwife and on BBC Songs of Praise.

Dave Bulloch

Transport Planner

Dave joined the HTp team in 2022 following the completion of his Transportation Engineering and Planning MSc at the University of the West of England. 

In his free time, Dave enjoys exploring the country on two feet or two wheels, and is always happy to provide a cyclist's perspective whenever needed.

Joseph Tucker

Transport Planner

Joe started his transport planning career in 2017, before joining HTp in 2020 as a Transport Planner.  He has a wide variety of experience in transport reports and drawings supporting residential, retail and industrial applications. 

His specialist expertise within HTp is traffic modelling.

Outside of work, Joe is a keen motorcyclist, having gained a full motorbike license in spring 2024.  He is happiest when riding around the Cotswolds, South Wales and Cheddar Gorge in a highly safe and responsible way.
